Unbowed by locusts
None are surprised that Emerson is busy re-spinning his quoted verbal attack on his new party and new boss:
Stephen Harper is a hardass because he has his views. He has his principles. He has vision. And he’s prepared to stand by it and not be bowed and intimidated by people. In that sense, yes, he’s a hardass.” David Emerson, the repentant MP
Should we accept David Emerson as a good judge of character? Probably not. Kissing up to the PM to make up for his gaffe appears to be more important to Emerson than making up with his constituents.
